Enid’s Dad was very protective of his younger daughter and was a bit wary of leaving them alone in the front room, even after he had given his approval for the marriage.

Enid’s Mum was always very welcoming to John and usually supplied him with a meal.

John’s parents were relieved at his choice for a bride as they were never sure what he would bring home next!

Trudy & Tom were married in 1928 here they are on their big day.

Andrew didn’t seem very keen on getting married despite having lived happily with Susan for a number years, but with a little persuasion from Susan they eventually had their wedding whilst on holiday in Las Vegas.

The ceremony was was held at Graceland Wedding Chapel with the Bride being given away by an “Elvis Presley”. This was a really jolly affair with the happy couple enjoying themselves with just a few friends.

A party for all the families to celebrate was held later in the UK

Katy knew at once when she had found the right man and probably decided to marry him immediately.

There doesn't seem to have been any argument from Mike though.

Enid & John were surprised though, but were very pleased never the less.
