PROGRAM FOR THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2012

January will see the Strollers covering a lot of familiar ground including; Swan Lane Farm, Hilders Farm, Mowshurst, Lockhurst Farm, Broxham, Lingfied Road Recreation Ground, Haxted, Skeynes Farm, Four Elms, Owl Court. All of these walks are over fairly flat terrain and are relatively short.

February will cover such places as: Cernes Farm, Starborough Farm, Gabriel’s Farm, Bough Beech Reservoir, Roodlands Farm, Mark Beech, Hever, Bramsells Farm, Cowden, Waystrode Manor, Kitford Bridge. These are mainly flat again.

March and the beginning of Spring we hope; Bore Place Farm trail, Lydens Farm, Delaware, Whistler’s Farm, Stanford Water Lane, Hosey Common, Westerham, Chartwell, French street, Leaves Green, High House Farm, Keston. Some of these are a little longer but none exceed six miles. You may find it muddy and hilly in parts.

All of these walks meet at the Edenbridge Leisure Centre at 09.30hr. on Mondays except January 16th and February 6th which meets at the Ling field Road Recreation Ground and March the 19th which will be earlier at the Leisure Centre 09.15hr.

NB1 Please do not park. your car in a pub car park unless you intend to patronise the pub after the walk

NB2  When walking along roads without pavements or grass verges, please walk in single file and, if safe, face the direction of traffic.

NB3 If you plan to go straight to the start of the walk rather than meet at the leisure centre, please contact us beforehand to confirm arrangements
