What a lovely day it was. Valentines day 2011!

BUT MUDDY!

Normally we should have been able to see a carpet of bluebells in April, but Spring was late in 2010

The sun still shines on the righteous as this walk on the 23 August proves.

The walk started from York Hill and gave opportunities for us to see some splendid views.

A few strollers travelled a little further than normal to enjoy a walk whilst a lot of the the group were enjoying themselves in Hungary.

Gavin Bateman has done us proud again with pictures of the Strollers on holiday in Andorra in 2011.

Plus there are pictures from Jenny Chettle of some who stayed home.

The 4th July 2011 was a very hot day. A lot of the walk was on the Fairlawne Estate, which you will note from pictures, was less than welcoming.

Here are a selection of pictures take by Mick Brown. Most of these were take in “Annie’s” at the end of the Pre Christmas walk.

We sometimes have a longer walk that lasts all day.
